Year 11 Presentation Evening

Posted on: 11/12/2019

We were thrilled to welcome back the Class of 2019 for their GCSE Presentation Evening. The evening is always a great opportunity to celebrate our students’ many achievements and catch up on what they have been doing since they left us in the summer. Our special guest for the evening was the headteacher of Richard Lander School, Mr Mulcahy, who took the opportunity to share some words of wisdom. Telling the students to go out and seize the day, finishing his speech with these simple words, “Laugh a lot. Love a lot. Live a lot. Give a lot.”

The student address was delivered by the senior students of 2019 who gave comical speeches; reminiscing about their school days, thanking Achieve... staff for supporting them through secondary school and being shoulder to cry on when they needed it. “It has certainly been an eventful five years with many memories made”. The crowd were treated to an impressive musical performance from ‘The Wandering Winds’, where the boys showed off their fantastic musical abilities, filling the room with their amazing music. With Mr Mulcahy commenting, “You boys are sensational; never put those instruments down!”

A big thank you to all who attended, it was great to see you all and we cannot wait to see what you accomplish in your future endeavours. We would love you to join our alumni association so it is easier for us to keep in touch!
