Year 7 students have been busy this term practising for the annual Humphry Davy School Performance Evening.

The evening took place on the 20th November, in front of a large group of excited families and friends. The students treated us to a selection of performances of songs old and new. From OutKast’s ‘Hey Ya’ to Queen’s classic ‘We Will Rock You’ (complete with audience participation!), there really was something for everyone!

Director of Music, Mrs Bradley-Metcalf, commented “It was brilliant to see just how much our Year 7 students have grown in confidence during this first term at Humphry Davy; it takes so much courage to stand up in front of such a large crowd. They hid their nerves well and the outcome was a fantastic night filled with polished musical performances, well done everyone!”
