The HDS Italy trip was nothing short of unforgettable! After arriving safely in Milan, students began their adventure by exploring the stunning city of Verona, visiting the famous Verona Arena and stopping at the iconic Juliet’s Balcony, where they placed their own HDS ‘love lock’.

 

The adventure continued in Venice, where students enjoyed scenic water taxi rides, watched gondolas drift through the canals and explored the city’s charming hidden streets. The group also spent time at the beautiful Lake Garda, swimming in the sunshine, enjoying lakeside lunches and visiting the picturesque town of Sirmione.

 

One of the highlights of the trip was a hands-on pizza-making session with a traditional Italian chef, where students learned authentic techniques and created their own pizzas from scratch. The trip ended with a relaxing final day in Peschiera del Garda before the group began the long journey home. Filled with culture, laughter and unforgettable experiences, the trip gave students countless memories from an amazing adventure together.
