Our Performing Arts faculty hosted an amazing evening of singing.  Close to 100 Year 7 students stood proudly on stage and sang songs all linked by themes of friendship, love and support - perfect for their first half term settling into their new school.  

‘Opening Night’ has become a rite of passage for HDS students.  Every student remembers throwing their paper aeroplane in an act of fun rebellion for the finale to Pink Floyd’s famous song, ‘Another Brick in the Wall’.  There were also strong performances by an all new Year 7 Rock Band (Buddy, Caleb and Vivan) and a vocal duet from Juni and Amelia. 

This is one talented year group, and we can’t wait to see and hear more from them!
