HDS students and staff were proud to be able to celebrate Sir Humphry Davy's birthday with the Penzance Community on Saturday evening.

Starting at the top of Causewayhead, our Science Ambassadors joined the twilight parade through the town, joyfully carrying lanterns and flags.

At the end of the parade, everyone gathered around the statue outside Lloyds Bank and sang 'Happy Birthday' to Sir Humphry!

Having missed out on so many community events over the past couple of years, it was fantastic to see the people of Penzance get together and celebrate, and it was great to be involved!
