Day 3 - Saturday 8th July

The write up of Day 3 - Saturday 8th July comes from Grace.

After a huge hotel breakfast, we got into the minibus and headed off to the Rwandan Genocide Memorial Centre.

It was incredibly emotional and we gained a vast amount of valuable knowledge. The memorial was so moving and Thomas, Jess and Aidan got to lay a wreath on behalf of everyone at Humphry Davy to commemorate the many lives lost.

After reflecting, we headed off to the genocide museum for more contemplation.

Finally, we took the bus home and decided to chill out for the rest of the evening.

Once we were chilled we had a party for Mia who is 15 today! Our Rwandan hosts, Peter and Tom joined us and we took so many photos!

We drive across the border and into Uganda tomorrow.

Grace.
