Music Scholars Tour London

Posted on: 14/11/2019

Penzance based super group, ‘The Wandering Winds’, recently got a taste of the big time by performing at The Royal Albert Hall for the Music For Youth School Proms. Every year Music For Youth welcomes thousands of young performers to showcase their talents at one of the UKs biggest stages.  The Wandering Winds are made up of past and present Humphry Davy School students who have developed their high-energy musical skills, busking on the streets of Penzance. Their rapport with the audience and dynamic delivery translated brilliantly to the Royal Albert Hall crowd, who were left wanting more at the end of the set.

Alongside the packed out crowd at the Royal Albert Hall were some of the Humphry Davy School Music Scholars who had travelled all the way up to London to cheer on the boys’ big performance.

The Music For Youth School Proms were a fantastic celebration of youth music enjoyed by all. Be sure to catch The Wandering Winds performing locally whilst you still can.
